The 3rd Graders started their Catapult build.  At the completion, of their build they will have a challenge to setup the catapult in order to storm a castle.  This scenario will require them to test the range of the catapult and calculate the distance needed to have a proper trajectory to get their ball inside the walls of the castle.

The 3rd Graders are rocking this build!  Check out Week 2.

The two teams are working together better every week.  Check out Week 3.

Each team is continuing to work toward their goal during Week 4.  This group of students truly enjoys working through each challenge.

Week 5 was a learning experience of how to work as a team and how to use constructive criticism to improve the build.

Week 6 & 7  We have been working on improving our builds!!!!

Week 8 More Troubleshooting...need them working for Robotics and Engineering Day!

Weeks 9-12 were spent improving the robot design, testing the robot and completing any last minute additions.
